Are you and your family in need of some Christmas spirit? Then come by Børglum Kloster and enjoy our cozy Christmas market, where you'll find everything your Christmas heart desires.
Christmas is the only time of the year when we open our private rooms, guaranteeing a unique Christmas atmosphere. We have decorated the entire Abbey with Christmas hearts, greenery, nativity scenes, Christmas elves, and all the other festive decorations that belong to Christmas.
At our Christmas market, we host various Christmas events, and we've previously welcomed a Christmas Santa orchestra, which brought joy to visitors of all ages.
During the Christmas season, we open the Abbey’s private rooms to create an atmospheric setting for our Christmas market. This year, you can expect around 30 different stalls offering everything from arts and crafts to food stands with local delicacies produced by local producers and made from local ingredients. Art and craft stalls with Christmas decorations and various other items - and you can enjoy your food in the renovated stable.
We also offer a fantastic brunch or evening buffet in our café, where you can enjoy the taste of Christmas with your loved ones. If you wish to book brunch or the evening buffet, please remember to pre-order.
